The Metropolitan Builders Association Names Hillmer as Executive Director
(Waukesha, Wis.) June 27, 2011 – The Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) has appointed Kristine S. Hillmer, MBA, CAE, as Executive Director of the association.
“Hillmer has extensive experience leading non-profit organizations and will be a valuable addition to the MBA,” said Ed Miller, MBA president. “Her strong association management background and dedication to creating an exceptional member service culture will greatly benefit the MBA.
Kris comes to MBA with nearly 18 years of association management experience. Having worked with numerous trade and professional societies, her experience is well suited for the opportunities and challenges that MBA faces.
“I am thrilled to join an organization that values the importance of developing a meaningful relationship with members,” said Hillmer. “It’s such an exciting time at the MBA with the Parade of Homes starting in August and now being such a great time to build or remodel”
Hillmer earned her MBA from Edgewood College in Madison, and earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 1997. In addition to her professional experience, she has been active with her family and in the community. She currently serves as the elected President for the Wisconsin Society of Association Executives.
