Ruebl Builders, Grand Appliance & TV take top booth prizes at Expo
(Waukesha, Wis.) January 16, 2012 – Exhibitors at the 2012 Home Building & Remodeling Expo competed for the best overall booth in two categories last weekend, judged by an independent panel based on innovation and creativity. Booths were split between builders and associate members, based on membership type in the Metropolitan Builders Association.
The first place builder booth went to Ruebl Builders; second place to Clark Design; and third place to Jeff Horwath Family Builders.
The first place associate booth went to Grand Appliance and TV; second place to Schmidt Custom Floors; and third place to Weather-Tek.
The Interior Design Village at the Expo featured three exhibits that fill a specific lifestyle niche. Stonecraft Studio’s rendition of a converted pub into a nursery took first place, as voted by visitors to the Expo, with a theme based on the children’s book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.
At the Landscaping Competition, Breezy Hill Nursery took first prize for its outdoor cabana surrounded by two unique water features.
The Home Building & Remodeling Expo ran January 5-8, 2012 at the Frontier Airlines Center.
