Brookfield Builder Wayne Foster Receives Executive Vice President’s Award from Wisconsin Builders Association®
The Wisconsin Builders Association® (WBA) recently named Wayne Foster of Brookfield as the 2006 recipient of the Executive Vice President’s Award. The honor was presented at the Ho Chunk Convention Center in Baraboo in conjunction with WBA’s annual statewide convention.
Foster has served on and chaired numerous committees on both the state level and locally as a member of the Metropolitan Home Builders Association. He provides an unwavering level of personal involvement in WBA and the building industry, and he’s always at meetings, fund-raisers and events. As a builder he’s worked hard. He’s not afraid to be alone with his opinion, yet knows when to be supportive.
The WBA Executive Vice President’s award is not given annually. Instead, is only given when an outstanding association volunteer rises to the forefront of involvement. WBA Executive Vice President Bill Wendle stated when presenting the award to Foster, “this year’s recipient is probably modest enough to not even realize their level of dedication warrants the Executive Vice President’s Award.” WBA congratulates Wayne Foster for his outstanding efforts to the association during 2006.
The Wisconsin Builders Association®, which consists of 24 local associations throughout the state, is an organization of more than 9,000 members committed to preserving and promoting the American dream of home ownership by working for quality, safe and affordable housing in Wisconsin.
