Home Builders Expo Spring Tour of Homes Parade of Homes Fall Remodelers Tour

The Metropolitan Builders Association Prepares for its Largest Membership Recruitment Drive Ever!

(Waukesha, WI) – September 27, 2007 – The MBA Membership Superbowl is set for October 3rd & 4th at the MBA office, N16 W23321 Stone Ridge Drive in Waukesha. A Kick-Off Party will get things rolling on Tuesday, October 2nd from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Then, on Wednesday and Thursday its members vs. members as eight teams of seasoned MBA veterans compete to bring in the most new members. Team members will make calls for two hours on either the 3rd or the 4th and will be rewarded for their efforts with a wrap-up party at the end of the day on Thursday, October 4th.

MBA membership has its rewards, including educational opportunities, four well known, well attended and highly promoted annual events, free contracts and forms, links to the MBA website, opportunities for industry involvement and much, much more. Members who join the MBA as part of the Membership Superbowl will also receive an incentive package valued at over $5,500.

Upon taking the reigns as MBA President last fall, Bruce Johnson, BDC Building Design & Construction Inc. said that he planned to make membership a priority in 2007. Because of this, a very ambitious goal of 1750 members was set by the MBA Membership Committee. The MBA has teamed up with the Oliver Group for this event and plans to recruit approximately 400 members. The Oliver Group has enjoyed great success with membership drives for other local building associations throughout Wisconsin. Their knowledge, combined with the enthusiasm of MBA members, is sure to make the MBA Membership Superbowl a success as well.
