Remodeling Contracts, Plans, & Specifications
(Waukesha, WI) October 24, 2007 – On Thursday, November 8th at 7:00 p.m., the Metropolitan Builders Association will host a consumer seminar titled, “Remodeling Contracts, Plans, & Specifications.” “Proper paperwork at the beginning of the remodeling process is an essential key to success,” said Matt Moroney, Executive Director of the MBA. “Take the time to ask your remodeler any questions you have regarding the topics highlighted on the contract before you sign to make sure you understand what’s going into your remodel from start to finish.”
“Remodeling is different from building a new home in many ways,” said Moroney. “The most obvious difference is that you are already living in your home. This means you will be living amidst construction. Make sure your remodeler is dedicated to making your family as comfortable as possible during your remodeling project.”
If a remodeling project is in your future you won’t want to miss the November consumer seminar. Rob Bultman, Veritas Land Development and Ed Miller, E. Miller and Associates, Inc. will provide consumers with practical advice when they present “Remodeling Contracts, Plans, & Specifications” on November 8th from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the MBA office, N16 W23321 Stone Ridge Drive, Waukesha. While registration is not required for this free seminar, it is preferred. Register online at www.MBAonline.org or by calling 262.436.1122.
