The Metropolitan Builders Association Announces New Executive Director

The Metropolitan Builders Association is pleased to announce that after a nationwide search Chellee Siewert has been named their new Executive Director effective today. “The transition committee considered 54 applicants. Siewert continually demonstrated throughout the highly competitive hiring process that she was the best qualified. Since Siewert began with the MBA in September of 2004, we have been impressed by her initiative andthe way she has moved the MBA forward. As we look to the future, we are confident that Siewert will use her new role to provide positiveleadership and do even more for the MBA and the building industry,” stated Frank Madden, Transition Committee Chair.

Siewert has been the Chief Operating Officer at the Metropolitan Builders Association since 2004. She has been instrumental in the success that the MBA has realized as it grew to become the 14th largest home builders association in the country. She increased the marketing and public relations for the Association by launching a consumer magazine, Abode, the MBA’s radio show, Today’s Home, and the MBA’s searchable website. She has also initiated other branding efforts and introduced several large philanthropic projects that allowed the MBA to demonstrate their commitment to community.

Prior to the MBA she worked for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Wisconsin Chapter and Rogers Memorial Hospital. Siewert is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Outside of the MBA, Siewert enjoys spending time with her husband, Brett and her two children Cole and Cade. She is also active with the Hebron House Foundation and Stillwaters, Inc.

The MBA is a non-profit and non-partisan association which represents over 1,500 companies within the building industry in the metropolitan Milwaukee area. The MBA develops and offers education for consumers as well as members. By establishing business ethics and industry standards, the MBA has earned a reputation as a trusted resource. Consumers enjoy MBA promotions for housing and housing products, while members take part in professional and social activities throughout the year.
