The 2007 Parade of Homes Enjoyed Excellent Attendance
– Despite the Weather!
(Waukesha, WI) – September 11, 2007 – The 2007 Parade of Homes opened to a stretch of seven days of rain. It ended with attendance that topped 2005’s attendance numbers and was closing in on 2006’s. If we hadn’t had 10 days of rain during the 24 day event, it is quite possible that 2007 would have been another record setting year!
As things stand, the attendance at each site was right in line with the attendance at each site in 2006. In 2007, close to 30,000 consumers came out to tour 23 spectacular homes in two unique sites. Broken Hill in Pewaukee welcomed 17,884 attendees, while Woodland Creek Estates had 11,390. In 2006, Fox Lake Village welcomed 15,617 attendees, Rolling Ridge South boasted 11,560, and Cobblestone Woods saw 11,723. These numbers demonstrate how closely this year’s attendance mirrored 2006 – a year that saw a 10% increase over 2005.
Activity on the MBA website has increased dramatically due to the Parade. In the month of August alone, we had over 1,250,000 hits at www.MBAonline.org.
Although the 2007 Parade has ended, you may still view all the Parade models from Broken Hill and Woodland Creek Estates online at www.MBAonline.org. While online, you can also purchase our first ever interactive Parade DVD which offers color photos of all 23 Parade models. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the Parade from the comfort of your own home
