MBA Establishes Transition Committee
(Waukesha, WI) – December 12, 2007 – The Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) has established a transition committee to manage a change in leadership that will eventually take place when Executive Director Matt Moroney resigns from his duties with the organization in the latter half of 2008. Moroney will continue in his role as the Executive Director until he completes his work on several initiatives including the completion of the Wisconsin Trend & Performance Home. Moroney has expressed a desire to the Board of Directors to seek other professional challenges and to seek more quality time with his family after serving with the MBA for nearly 12 years, the past 7 as Executive Director. The MBA is very appreciative that Moroney has given our organization ample time to pursue a smooth transition.
The MBA is a non-profit and non-partisan association which represents the building industry in the metropolitan Milwaukee area. The MBA develops and offers education for consumers as well as members. By establishing business ethics and industry standards, the MBA has earned a reputation as a trusted resource. Consumers enjoy our promotions for housing and housing products, while members take part in our professional and social activities throughout the year. The MBA has a long standing tradition of giving back to the community through a variety of philanthropic ventures.
