Step Beyond Green ~ to Healthy
Returning for it’s second year, the Step Beyond Green ~ to Healthy exhibit, presented by Source 1 Project Solutions Inc., grows in 2016. What if you could take steps to prevent the 50 most common illnesses? Would you do it? Studies show that there may be a link between chemicals used in building products, foods and other household items and illnesses such as cancer, asthma and autism. Visit the Step Beyond Green to Healthy Feature Area at the 2016 MBA Home Building & Remodeling Show to see what healthier building can look like. Learn how your home could be affecting your health and meet a team of area contractors who can help.
The Step Beyond Green ~ to Healthy Feature Area allows you to walk-through the construction process and see first-hand how building with healthier materials can create a healthier environment for people and their pets. See how healthy building is different than green building, and meet the team that it takes to create healthier homes and workplaces.
Start by seeing Fido the Dog’s healthier outside environment. Next, go inside to see the stylish finished rooms. Then, see the walls stripped away showing the “stuff behind the walls” that people don’t typically think about when they think healthy!
Building healthier is more than selecting products. It’s having a team of general contractor, designer, supplier and trade contractors that understand how the installation and construction of the home affects people.
