Rather than having the kitchen open to the great room, this is open to a more casual, but stunning gathering room. 3 rough sawn beams are suspended overhead to give the soaring cathedral ceiling visual weight, and three pendant lights hang over the large island, which seats six.

The cabinetry is a natural finished Cherry raised panel design with lots of special shelves and racks, features gorgeous Granite tops, and sits on Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors. The kitchen cabinetry flows into the gathering room, starting with the wine and glass rack, and continuing with the entertainment center. Adjacent to the gathering room is a screen porch, to enjoy the warmer months without the hassle of mosquitoes!
