The Metropolitan Builders Association is hosting its 19th Annual Home Builders Expo Thursday, January 10th through Sunday, January 13th at the Midwest Airlines Center. This year’s Home Builders Expo, which is presented by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, features over 750 booths and is expected to draw approximately 15,000 attendees. This combination makes the Expo the largest, most comprehensive building trade show in Wisconsin.
“We are really excited about this year’s show,” said Association Executive Director Matt Moroney. “It’s important to note that Home Builders Expo is not only for people looking for a builder, developer or remodelor; the show also features all of the products and services you will need for new construction, remodeling, landscaping, or any home improvement project literally all under one roof.”
The Home Builders Expo is the place for you to gather ideas on landscaping, remodeling, and home products. If you are dreaming of a new home, the Expo also provides a wonderful opportunity for you to look at the latest land developments in the area, get to know a variety of home builders and do some research while you are at the show.
In addition to the large variety of products and services available, the 2008 Home Builders Expo will feature:
Landscape Contest. The Metropolitan Builders Association will once again feature the latest trends in landscaping design through the 8th Annual MBA Landscaping Competition at the Home Builders Expo.
Consumer Seminars. FREE consumer seminars will cover a wide range of topics including tips on choosing a remodelor, landscaping beyond the ordinary, what’s hot and what’s not in decorating today and construction financing. Presented by industry experts, the classes are the first of a series to be offered throughout the year. Additional classes will be held at the MBA Headquarters (N16 W23321 Stone Ridge Drive, Waukesha).
The Home Builders Expo will be open Thursday, January 10th from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 11th from noon to 9 p.m., Saturday, January 12th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, January 13th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10.00 at the door or $8.00 at advanced ticket sellers or with donation of 2 non-perishable food items at the door.
