Career Day Info for Schools
We have assigned each participating school a time frame in which to be at the site and begin their safety briefing. Students will be broken up into groups of 10-15 and may be combined with other schools. Please plan on getting to the subdivision about 10 minutes prior to your start time to allow for students to exit the bus and proceed to the starting point. Volunteers will be available to direct you when you arrive. We anticipate that it will take about 2.5 hours to go through each station and get back on the bus.
Safety Protections and Dress Code
Note that this is an active construction site and safety is our number one concern. So that we can help keep your students safe, please note the following:
Because the Fox Meadow Subdivision is new, it will not show up on a google map or GPS. The closest cross street is Good Hope and Pilgrim Road for perspective. To access the site where there will be a safe place to exit the bus and where there will be parking available for the bus, use the following directions:
Turn West onto Claremore Circle off of Pilgrim Road. This street is located north of Silver Spring and south of Good Hope Roads. Take a right onto Tamarack Trail. There will be parking volunteers to direct you on where to let the students off and where to park the bus.
Questions prior to and during the event can be directed to Kristine Hillmer, MBA Executive Director. Her email is firstname.lastname@example.org and phone numbers are: cell – 262-366-2446; office – 262-436-1120.
Please be advised that the MBA will be taking photographs throughout the event and there is a strong possibility that there will be media coverage, as well. If there are any students that cannot be photographed it is the teacher’s responsibility to notify the event coordinators at the beginning of the event. Every effort will be made to keep them out of any pictures or videotaping and the assistance of the teacher will be appreciated, accordingly.
Food and Drink
We will have water available for everybody at the site, but no food. Depending on the assigned times, schools may have their students bring a bag lunch or snack to eat afterwards or on the bus.
