MBA Member changes their name to adapt to their growing business
Chris Ashworth, of Express Directional Services recently notified the Metropolitan Builders Association that her company name has officially changed. “I’m now starting the manufacture and sell printed signage and custom mailboxes,” commented Ashworth about the reason for the name change. The companies new name is Express Sign and Mailbox. All other contact info remains the same.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Robert “Bob” J. Burbach, retired president of Burbach Insulation Co., Inc.  Bob was president of Burbach Insulation for 52 years.  Bob passed away Sunday, May 23, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home, 14075 W. North Avenue, Brookfield, on Friday, May 28th from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, with service at 6:30 pm.  Internment will be private.

MBA members Tim O'Brien Homes is named one of Waukesha County Chamber's "Top 10 Small Businesses of the Year" in Waukesha County. Presented by the Waukesha County Chamber and BizTimes Milwaukee, the annual program salutes businesses that have showed financial growth, employee growth, a commitment to customer focus, employee relations and community service. All winners will be honored at a luncheon on June 10 at the Country Springs Hotel in Pewaukee.

Rosemary Jacobson of Strategies, passed away on April 5, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Rosemary's many professional accomplishments were matched by her numerous civic, charitable and volunteer activities, as well as her dedication at the MBA. A memorial will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay at, 819 East Silver Spring Drive. The visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 AM and the service will begin at 11:00 AM. The family requests that remembrances be sent to Heifer International or the American Cancer Society.
