MBA Ranked the 12th largest HBA in the Country

The National Association of Home Builders recently announced the top 100 building associations based on the number of members. The MBA received word that we are the 12th largest in the nation with over 1,500 members. Results were taken as of May 31st, 2008. Since then, our numbers have increased with a steady annualized retention of 73.8%.

The MBA joins in celebrating with three other local building associations who represent the state of Wisconsin in NAHB’s Top 100 Associations:

• 12th: Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA)
• 34th: Brown County
• 56th: Valley
• 57th: Madison Area

As the 12th largest HBA in the country and the largest in the state, the MBA realizes the potential we have to generate positive changes and constructively impact the homebuilding industry both locally and at large. The demographics of our members include a balanced variety of builders, remodelers, developers, and associates, allowing our association to play an influential part in various trades of the building industry. As we celebrate this news of encouragement, we are also reminded of our opportunity to use our talents and voices as tools for building up the industry we all value.
